Idaho First. Constitution Always.
I’m Joe Evans — an Idaho-grown American, U.S. Army veteran, and lifelong advocate for individual liberty — and I’m running for the United States Senate because Idaho deserves representation that answers to the people, not Washington insiders.
I was raised in Idaho, shaped by hard work, personal responsibility, and service. I’m the grandson of two World War II veterans and Southwest Idaho farmers who understood that freedom is never free and that strong communities are built by neighbors helping neighbors — not by distant bureaucracies.
Those values didn’t come from politics. They came from family, service, and lived experience.
Why I’m Running
Washington, D.C. has forgotten who it works for.
Career politicians talk about the Constitution while voting against it. They talk about fiscal responsibility while running trillion-dollar deficits. They talk about freedom while empowering unelected agencies to regulate every aspect of American life.
I’m running for U.S. Senate to restore constitutional government, rein in federal overreach, protect individual liberty, and make sure Idaho’s voice is heard — not overridden.
Government exists to protect rights, not manage lives.
Service, Work, and Real-World Experience
I served in the United States Army because I believe this country — and the freedoms it represents — are worth defending.
After my military service, I didn’t become a career politician. I worked real jobs. I built a life. I navigated the same systems Idaho families struggle with every day — healthcare, small business, energy costs, housing, and federal bureaucracy.
I’ve worked alongside veterans, small business owners, tradesmen, and working families. I’ve seen firsthand how federal policies written far from Idaho can harm the very people they claim to help.
That experience matters. The Senate doesn’t need more politicians — it needs more citizens who understand the consequences of bad policy.
Idaho Values, Not Washington Control
Growing up in Idaho teaches you something Washington never will:
Decisions are best made closest to the people they affect.
CORE PRINCIPLES
- Constitutional limits and separation of powers
- Individual liberty and personal responsibility
- Local control over centralized authority
- Fiscal discipline and sound money
- Strong communities built on work, family, and ownership
Governing Philosophy
Idaho First, Not Washington Managed
Idaho does not need to be managed by Washington, D.C. We need to be left alone to build, produce, raise our families, and govern our own communities. The role of the federal government is limited and defined—not expansive and experimental.
Accountability, Not Career Politics
- I am not running to manage decline or climb a political ladder. I am running to restore limits, accountability, and representation.
- I don’t owe party leadership my vote.
- I don’t owe special interests my loyalty.
- I owe the Constitution my oath—and the people of Idaho my service.
